Hi, and welcome to another issue of BrainScriblr. In this issue I will cover what is Perplexity Pages and how it can be used not only for research but as a tool that can enhance your SEO game.

Seeing what Kuytai has accomplished with Moshi is amazing in many ways. Especially when it comes to offering an alternative that is nearly, or more capable, but is also greener. Moshi is a Small Language Model built by Kuytai labs in France and can potentially use far less energy and produce far less carbon than the LLM cousing built by OpenAI.

Optimize for SEO?

Perplexity Pages integrates with Google search results, making it essential to optimize your content for search engines. Use relevant keywords, meta tags, and descriptions to ensure your content appears in search results, driving organic traffic to your website or GitHub project

To use Perplexity Pages for marketing is an indirect effort. What I do is make sure one of my pages is part of the citation system from perplexity. So I start off a topic by asking Perplexity to outline a page I want to refer traffic to. My first prompt would include that page certainly. Then I would continue with the promped questions from Perplexity to fill out the information. This way my page will always gain some referral traffic from Perplexity.

Perplexity Pages can also be used for market research, project definition or for indepth thought pieces. Those are the kind of pages you write when you want to enter a market. A thought piece written with Perplexity would include all of the external links you would need to demonstrate authority and expertise for Google’s EEAT SEO guideline.

I cannot yet say how effective this will be longer term. Perplexity Pages were only issued back in May so there is not a lot of time to test how effective this process would be.
