Hello.World!

The first bit of C Programming

The first bit of code written in the C programming language was ‘Hello.World!’

There is more to the above code which you can find online.

It seems like a good title for the first edition of my newsletter.

I learned that bit of history when I took my first programming course at the University of Washington back in the early 2000’s. It was not the beginning but a further step in exploring my ongoing interest in computers and computing.

My time in tech lasted a short while as I found what really made me get up in the morning was being able to work for myself and to work on the projects I felt had an impact. Before tech, I owned and operated a retail business and was a radio DJ too.

This is the first edition of what I hope will be a long-running series of newsletters under the name Brain Scriblr. This newsletter will be an ongoing investigation into all things AI, and how the tools we are now building can bring us a better sense of how to manage our time and ourselves. What can meditation do? What can gratitude do? How can an app help us get to where we want to be in life?
